After the successful installation of the first Tune Hotel in Westminster, London, VDA and Tune Hotels have signed a global agreement by which VDA’s "intelligent room" will become a brand standard and be installed throughout the hotel chain’s 284 new hotels in South East Asia, Australia, China, Europe and America – and indeed - wherever Air Asia flies.
The first phase will see more than 35.000 rooms installed, representing a VDA turnover exceeding 20 million Euros.

This agreement represents a milestone for VDA and marks a huge success for VDA’s global expansion strategy. This has favourably positioned VDA as a major supplier of “Green Hotel” energy saving technology” with a direct presence across all continents.

The technology installed in Tune Hotels provides for full management of power consumption in each room at all times while allowing the guest to select the services on a per use basis. Guests can purchase the "comfort upgrade" at any time, either prior to or during check-in or even after they’ve entered their room.

VDA’s Technology provides an eco-friendly solution allowing the Tune Hotels chain to manage energy costs effectively while providing its guest’s with options for a “pay for use” service and still delivering a Five-Star Bed at a One-Star price.
