The Okura Presige Bangkok will be the first property in South East Asia to take delivery on the PowerTV ONAIR technology.
The forum comprised of the region’s most notable Internet Technology personal from reputable hotel groups worldwide. As part of the Technology showcase, VDA presented the highly anticipated PowerTV ONAIR platform where guest were able to navigate, enjoy and see the ease of the innovative cloud based IPTV system. The
PowerTV ONAIR platform is a powerful tool for hoteliers to meet high end travelers
rising demand for mobile technology and digital integration in executive luxury
hotel guest rooms. The PowerPlay feature gives guest the ability to push media
from their mobile devices to the television and vice versa. During the Okura
event VDA demonstrated the PowerPlay feature and surprised the audience.
PowerPlay utilizes the PowerTV Wi-Fi Bubble feature to connect all connected
devices together. This included iPad, iPhones and of course Android OS devices.
