VDA in attendance at the World Hotel and Resort Development Congress 2012

VDA took part in South East Asia’s top-level hospitality event, World Hotel and Resort Development Congress. It is estimated that South East Asia will grow 18% in the next 3-5 years yielding a room supply increase of 410,000 rooms. The regional growth breakdowns consist of the growing markets in Thailand (4%), Malaysia (4%), Indonesia (5%), Vietnam (3%) and the Philippines (2%).

WHRDC was not just about the numbers, but also about connecting with some of the regions top industry leaders and decision makers. The event was filled with sessions of experts sharing their ideas and innovative trends in the industry and there was plenty of time to network.
